Riciclo creativo, progetto 2: collana in stoffa

Textile necklace, tutorial

This simple creative recycling project requires very few scraps of fabric. For a more sophisticated variant, you can choose to use some velvet fabric, possibly in combination with a satin ribbon.

Customization

As to know how to customize your fabrics, you can rely on one of the following techniques: dyeing, Shibori, silk painting.

Materials

  • 1 fabric scrap: cm 80 x 7 (or 2 scraps measuring cm 41 x 7, simple stitched along the short side)
  • 70 cm webbing (or ribbon), height 1,6 cm
  • 4 buttons (2 cm diameter, or just under)
  • sewing thread and sewing machine
